French version will be done this evening.
Professor, can you look over the end credits and verify that I identified the correct people as the roles they played?
For example, I wasn't certain if Ti'chelle is the lady with the blue shirt, or the blue hair.
The credits may also list people who don't show up in the film at all.
If I have anything wrong in the credits,
I want to correct it before the announcement. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Marten, you'd think I would be able to match up names with avvies. Not so. I'm fairly certain that Ti'chelle is blue shirt.
Episode Zero also had more names than actual extras used because on the Takotah rooftop scene I filmed on two sides of the roof. But, I only ended up using footage from one half. But, the extras were there and gave their permission to be filmed so I included their names anyway. It's not their fault they ended up on the cutting room floor.
Marten, I'll look again at the credits but I'm fairly certain they were okay. I think if there are any doubts about who played who, I would maybe just list them as perfomers without the roles assigned to them. Just an idea.
Be right back.
EDIT: Yes, as far as I can tell the credits are accurate. Though I wouldn't change it for Episode One, I think going forward we might want to simply thank our performers in a list without pointing out their role. It will be much easier to keep track of and it's not like Explorers playing other Explorers is a big deal. It's not like they're real actors building a resume. LOL. Thoughts?
So, give me the word, Marten, and I'll send out the announcement. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

I agree. A simple list of cast members would be nice. _________________ ~Moiety Jean

Word.
And BTW - after the Episode 1 filming, I figured out a really good way to track who is who. Each time I film, I run around and film each person's appearance and name (gliding my cursor past them) and save that as a separate file. So there's no problem keeping names straight going forward... I just did a bad job tracking it for Episode 1.
And thank you for double-checking my work.
ALSO...
Happy Birthday, Amarok! _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Okay, I've begun sending out the new announcement. It reads:
Quote: | Over a year before Explorers began to trickle into D'ni, Restoration Engineer, Phil Henderson VANISHED.
Almost timed with our arrival in November of 2003, Phil returned and he brought with him cryptic messages he seemed at first reluctant to share. At the same time, another DRC freelancer, Douglas Sharper, was growing increasingly unhappy with his employers as they began to close off more areas of Ae'gura, fearful that the growing number of Explorers could somehow hurt themselves.
Enjoy Episode One: "Planting the Seeds" as the Explorers are slowly presented with different takes on how the restoration of D'ni should be undertaken. |
Thanks to Marten for the link to Phil's disappearance at DRC forum. I think putting a DRC link in our post about the documentaries really broadens the scope of the project.
Oh, and Happy Birthday, Amarok! _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |
