Thank you so much for the note, Marten and this post.
I'm just downloading it. This was my first day at my
new workplace. Came home quite late.

Episode 2 should be ready Tuesday night barring any unforseen difficulties.
I meant to finish it tonight, but I'm too exhausted. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Great Tree Episode 2 is now available in English, where you'd expect it*. German and French will follow soon. Thank you to Janaba1 and Amarok for another wonderful effort!
Cycreim, if you want to adjust Episode 2 to stream, go ahead and send me the updated file, and I'll update the version on the server.
Erik, please forward copies of episodes you've translated to me. Professor Askew will start handling translations with Episode 4, but he isn't ready just yet, and I'd like to get the Dutch versions up as soon as possible, too. Thanks for your generosity and your patience.
Italian versions of Episodes 0, 1, and 2 will follow after that. Thank you to Leonardo for his excellent translations, too.
* Great Tree media page has been updated. More on that in the "Videos Lite" thread. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

VERY VERY NICE!!! I love it, nice work! The ending music is appropriately creepy, and you had some real nice effects in there. I know it was a lot of work to splice multiple videos together, I applaud you!
/clap
I noticed you redid the DRC huddle scene, much better...

I will post the announcement immediately following "The Office" 72 minutes from now. I won't comment on the finished product just yet as I haven't watched it. I will when I return to my PC. I have no doubt I will be suitably impressed. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Announcement posted. It reads as follows:
Quote: | The Story of The Great Tree continues!
At the end of 2003 Phil Henderson made his presence known once again in the garden Age of Eder Kemo. He was very interested in speaking with certain members of the D'ni Restoration Council.....and they were eager to speak with him as well. A brief encounter with Victor Laxman wouldn't add up to much and a frustrated DRC would be forced to wait another day to learn what happened to Phil during his year-long absence. But, frustration was not an emotion exclusive to the DRC. Many Explorers...well, we'll let you see for yourself.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy Episode Two: "You Need To Hear".
Currently, only the English version is available but other languages are soon to follow. |

German version of Episode 2 is now posted.
Quicktime versions are not yet configured for streaming. I spoke to Cycreim and he said he's fixing things with QuickTime Pro which is $30, so I think I'll invest in that. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.
