Don't be kissin' the Blarney stone on my watch!
Okay, I need a show of hands...
Who wants to volunteer for the Guard of D'ni? We need two people to escort Rand and Ryan along the parade route.
Who wants to volunteer to march in the parade hosted by The Great Tree? Please keep in mind that we will need to run a few timed practice marches, prior to Dress Rehearsal.
Who wants to volunteer to work the Nexus? Resposable for making TGT Bevin private, once Rand and Ryan arrive... and then making it public, once Rand and Ryan move to the next Host Bevin. Note: The parade will not start, until you return to TGT Bevin... you won't miss a thing!
Marten has already volunteered to capture the parade on video... Thanks, Marten!
Who wants to volunteer as spectators? We need to turn in a list to Parade Committee ASAP, so line up and sign in please!
Please keep in mind that a Dress Rehearsal will be held next Saturday, March 10, at 11 am Eastern Daylight Time.
Thanks, everyone!
P.S. I will contact Greydragon about getting our GT jackets for the event. If this is not possible, then we need to be thinking about what to wear (in addition to the Irish top hat)... _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

I definitely would not count on the jackets. But what Marten described seems to be the "uniform" for now. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Jackets, or not... I still need volunteers! The clock is ticking, hoodies...
We don't want Brian standing in TGT Bevin on March 17 with Urwin egg on his face, now do we?
If you have friends in non-hosting Bevins, please invite them to TGT as spectators. I'll be happy to show them the designated spectator assigned areas along the parade route.
If you wish to be filmed by Marten as you lead the way for Grand Marshal Rand and his side-kick Greydragon... please volunteer as Honor Guards (we only need two).
If you want to show TGT's spirit, please volunteer as a marcher... I mean, how hard could it be to follow Rand and Ryan around the hood? We've done this every time they've visited us in the past!
Besides, have you checked out Mari' O'Leari's St. Patric's Day Menu for the Progressive Dinner? Yummmmmm... good eats and livations!
/me kneels and begins to beg hoodies for volunteers _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

I had originally signed up to do it, but then top-side plans got shuffled. Let me check and see if I can still do it.
If I can, I'd love to be an Honour Guardie! _________________

Bri and I can't commit to even attending yet. And definitely can't make the dress rehearsal on the 10th. :/ _________________ ~Moiety Jean

I'd love to say that I'll be there, however my schedule changes by the minute. So I could have commitments top side that keep me away. What time do we need to be there at the latest(EST)? I'd like to come watch. _________________ "Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...

/me reporting on the parade rehearsal
SuperGram, Mari' O'Leari and two Honor Guardsmen led the way along the parade route as kami and I marched, and we had two spectators cheering us on (one next to the telescope, and one on top of the fountain).
At one point, Mari' was magically linked to never-never land and SuperGram was uncontrollably marching in circles, so I think my Bahro friends were playing trixters. Other than that, the entire parade took five minutes and five seconds. I'm sure this time will increase exponentially as the GT Bevin fills with Explorers hoping to catch a glimpse of Rand and Ryan on March 17th...

Woo hoo!
I hope you're aware of the Honor Guard Hood in the Nexus. You'll need to touch base with SuperGram, or Mari' for private invitations, and about the Honor Guard uniforms.
Thanks to 25, Eleri and Blade! _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212
