Other forum sites, especially the large ones like Guild of Greeters, run donation drives to help cover expenses.

I would certainly be willing to contribute to a server fund if you set one up.

I found really cheap hosting some time ago... It's about $15 for a year with 150 MB of webspace and about 8 GB of bandwidth ($30 for double webspace and bandwidth). And the quality of the hosting is just superb. It has an uptime of about 99% and you are always informed in time when they are upgrading their servers or doing some maintaining.
Unfortunately for you, it's a Dutch company...

But what exactly is the problem? A misbehaving server?

I'm in the process of setting up a new server to host this - I'll have to find a new home for the media, though. I suppose I cold actually leave that here, though, since it doesn't require the database to load those pages...

Hmm!

Anyway, I might get it done this weekend - it depends on how I'm feeling.

Thanks for the idea about donation drives, but I'd really like to keep donating $$ for it myself.
