My thoughts are that everything we got online with regards to clothing we will see in the first expansion pack, with the necessary tweaks made to the Great Zero. So I think we will get all the online content we saw plus the extra stuff we didn't see, the extra 4 ages, the 36 journals, the extra items of clothing etc, 10 puzzles, 2 of them being the Great Zero markers, I'm intrigued to see what the other 8 are. I wonder if we will get inside the Guild Hall |
I agree about the clothing. Everything we had and more besides. I'm looking forward to more marker hunts. I enjoyed those. I hope the moves aren't impossible for me. I wonder what the other puzzles will be about!
I don't think we get inside the Guild Hall in x1. Just a guess on my part, but CyanBill told people on the last night in Uru (I read a log) that neither the museum nor the library would be open in x1, so I don't suppose the Guild Hall will be, either.
I'm guessing we might see a bit more of Gahreesen. I'm hoping well see a bit more of Eder Gira! I'm also hoping for a peek at Er'cana!
I really, really hope that when I get to the Ferry Terminal in x1 I won't have to deal with barricades blocking off what we had access to at the end of Live. I think I'd just cry. I like the little cones, but those barricades get old.
Now my next question is, what are we going to get in x2, and when do I get to travel on the D'ni lake, and see K'veer, and see that house of illusion that Faresh built!

Sigh, I'm not getting my hopes up very much. They've been crushed once, and my trust is something very hard to regain. _________________ Pleased to meet you, won't you guess my name?... |

It's similar to the standard Nexus, but has a Caverns link catagory. _________________

During the Ubisoft Uru beta, they had a number of caverns set up so that more people could get into the city at one time. Each cavern had the same things in it.

I'd figured on that.
However, I wasn't involved in the Uru beta. _________________

That must be it, because my Nexus board said 'linking to cavern 5'. _________________

Annoyed by the delay, but not surprised on the content.
Well, with the exception about the part with David Ogden Stiers (M*A*S*H, Lilo & Stitch) I'm not confused. _________________

That list of things is interesting. Hmmm...
I think that since David Ogden Stiers does Zandi's voice, it must mean that we will hear something from Zandi again! Cool!

There are certain things about these expansion packs that I'm very excited about and nobody's really talking about it. I think that's mostly due to our active involvement in the plot and with Live being "put to bed" we have, in some ways, put the plot to bed. So there is much talk here, and other forums especially, about "what are we gonna get?" meaning new physical places to explore. [Don't get me wrong, that means quite a bit to me, as well.] But, equally as important, what are these ExPacs going to have that will start to move us out of the "Prologue"? We, of the Great Tree, were certainly moving things along in a certain direction. But, we have to remember that Cyan had some plot ideas of their own. Example: Someone was left in the Cavern and the DRC chose to ignore this person. Many of us guessed as to who we thought it was. I guessed Zandi and perhaps that's a possibility. It would certainly be great to run into him. And, of course, there's the illusive Yeesha. So, how does the story continue? That's what is exciting to me right now. How and when will we meet the Bahro? What kind of presence will the DRC have while we stroll through Ae'gura? Do we have a better chance of meeting Watson et al through future ExPacs than we would in Live? Will Phil resurface? I don't think Cyan is just going to drop all this stuff. The Prologue is over. On with the show!! _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Oh yes I'm definitely interested as well in seeing what storyline will be unravelled through the expansion packs. I just remember thing, it was either the last night in Live or a couple of days before and Grey Dragon popped into the GT Hood to say hi and everything and made one allusive comment that has had me thinking and kept me going and it was 'you guys are gonna love the expansion pack'. Whether it was just a general comment or in relation to the storyline I have no idea, but it certainly has me interested and wondering what might happen. |

Yes, I remember that, Farlesis. And did you get the feeling he was referring to GT members and not just players in general? I got butterflies when I heard that. Can't wait. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |
