Right now, a Dutch TV show (Wie is de Mol? = Who is the Mole?) uses music from Riven (the track Gehn Speaks)! The music is repeated at the end of each episode. Very cool to suddenly recognise Myst music where you don't expect it.
If anyone is interested, take a look over here: http://player.omroep.nl/?aflID=8791121
You have to wait a short while before the advertisement is automatically replaced by the player that shows the episode. The music starts at 46:40 |

Sounds wonderful, Erik, thanks... I wouldn't have recognized it myself though
as it's more in the background of a seemingly affecting and ending episode...
Right now I wish you all a peaceful and/or exciting (as you like) weekend... |

Right now,
Being somewhat compulsive about neatness (but only at times I cannot predict), I've spent the past few evenings writing a program to sort Rel.to's database. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Haha... sounds great... can't wait... right now...
Too bad that I don't know programming... but what about something like
a CMS assigning a few people to maintain and update the database...
though that could also lead to more work in the end... it depends...
Please let us know if anybody of us could be of any help, Marten... |

What I'm doing is unnecessary. The database works just fine without being sorted.
I'm just offended at a messy database.

Right now,
My little database sorting program for Rel.to is complete. I'm very glad that I wrote it now because when a few entries sorted in a way that I didn't expect, it revealed that some items weren't categorized quite right.
Next, I can start incorporating the latest information from Gorobay and Jana.
WHOOPS. Right now, Rel.to is a little broken. OK, a lot broken. And looking at the data, I don't understand why it's not working.
OK. Fixed for now. Had a little heart attack there for a bit. I'll have to experiment with this another time. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Right now Snow Day!
Right now waiting for a difficult phone call that has been a long time coming and my ipod's shuffle feature seems intent on picking downbeat songs to emphasise this. |

O_o poor ones... justed watched that in the news as well, Dan...
Right now... Yay!!! Our Marten has already started to sort things out like
the dead links, there are some rearrangements and the "Ages" category
is already added as well (partially)...
Right now watching an awesome conversation on CNN called "Corporate greed"...
Love that... the people are waking up now and being more courageous...
Haha... it's just so great what's going on and Obama is the greatest...
Our german news channels are really falling short in reporting what's
going on in the world and there are so many great happenings to report about...
So, right now I'm most of the time watching CNN or news channels on my
Livestation program... This one is great btw, always wanted to recommend
this one... with an excellent quality and you can watch tv stations from
all over the world... I'm getting all the american networks like C-Span 1-3,
ABC, CBS, CBC, CNN International (on my TV I have CNN London), Fox and
all and Al Jazeera's great (in English)... There's a wildlife channel,
Warner Bros Classic Cartoons, there's Sky News and CCTV 9 the chinese
english spoken channel... There's a discovery channel, National Geographic
but in german etc. etc. to name just a few I have of about 3750 to choose from
inside the program...
If anybody's interested please have a look here...
You'll have to register with any name and PW as you could chat as well
using the program though I don't use this feature...
Yes, and of course it's free...
Right now I'll go installing the new Offline KI to try out the new stuff...
Wishing you all a wonderful day and evening... Have fun... |

Right now I'm facepalming over the kids being delayed to go to school by 2 hours just from a slight fall of snow.
I'm also feeling like an old man for saying I had to go to school as a kid even if there was 5 inches or more on the ground (I didn't have to walk 15 miles to get there though).
And to add to that I'm trying to get the dvd of the wedding working so I can send a copy to my father. _________________ Grey Skies | Beneath |

I know we have a penchant for talking about the weather when confronted with strangers but MY GOD! I'm tired of hearing about the snow (which was only in Glasgow for like five minutes anyway.) |

Right now, I've realized I'm pretty clueless about the Life and Times of Tweek.
I'm also looking forward to this year's Mysterium way too much, considering it's just now February.
I'm hoping some of our beloved but burnt-out Great Tree will still decide to go, just to see friends. _________________ ~Moiety Jean

Right now, I've realized I'm pretty clueless about the Life and Times of Mysterium 2009. When is it? I'd love to see friends again!
EDIT: Right now, I just checked the Mysterium website and found out that it's in SPOKANE again!!! Oh, I don't even need to fly somewhere? I'M SO THERE!! I know it won't be quite the same as last time, but it'd be so great to see friends again. I hope the same gang goes.
