That's unfortunate.... Ocarina of Time was one of the top N64 games of all time, and I'm fairly certain it has more fans than Myst. There's no centralized community, though, so unless some well-visited site, like Nintendo or GameFAQs, decides to post a link to vote, I'm hopeful that the community as a whole will provide enough firepower to send Myst through the round. _________________ Just try not to think about it |

MYST vs. Zelda...
I'll have an easier time with that match than I did with MYST vs. Zork.
MYST all the way, baby! _________________ KI 182798

It just occurred to me that none of the Leisure Suit Larry games were included in the title war... _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

LOL. Never played the Leisure Suit Larry Games. Never played Zelda either, so Myst gets my vote all the way The N64 was something I never really took to. |

Yep. PSX and PC all the way. PS2 is cooler, but It will soon be obsolete, considering the PS3 comes out in 2005.
Go Myst. There, you don't have that annoyingly short day/night cycle.
EDIT: (conserning below:) good idea. _________________ No-one has explained WHY a raven is like a writing desk!

I don't have a playstation either
It's been pretty much a PC for the past 8/9 years. It's served me well over these years, I've been playing online games for nearly 8 years. The days of Quake 2 and 56k modems
I have thought about getting an XBox. But I think I will just wait until they release the next one. |

Hmm, I feel sorry for you all. Go get a N64 and OoT, probably less than $50 tota by nowl, and learn why it revolutionized video game RPGs. It feels so real when your're playing, it's almost like Myst--except instead of a complex storyline and graphics, they've got special effects, manueverability, and dialogue, and a storyline that, although less mysterious as Myst, is quite possibly just as exciting. _________________ Just try not to think about it |

It's okay I still with my computer, nothing to feel sorry for. N64's have just never appealed to me. Tried one years ago and played Mario Brothers, and put it down an hour later and thought 'hmm, well that was interesting'. I did have a sega megadrive
RPG's are just something I never really got into, it's always either been FPS/TPS or adventure games. |

Yes.... we must beware the ides of March, I suppose. I don't know that Myst will have as wide recognition and produce as strong a showing as the OoT, though I'm hopeful. I guess we'll see. _________________ Just try not to think about it |

Thanks for the reminder Mystlander. Whether it will win against Zelda, we can but try.
[Edit - March 15th] Looks like Myst might loose out here, Zelda currently has 2055 votes while Myst is struggling with 790 votes. |
