Heya I know not everyone is interested in this "WE" stuff, but for those of you do here is the latest.
On my way through the Nexus today I thought I would clear out some of my invites and I found a link to "Ssahn's Neighbourhood" among my private links. My curiosity got the better of me and I link in.
There were two posts on the imager:
Quote: | Subject 3.
________________ G
______________ N___M
____________ M_____ N
____________ E________O
___________ O_________ M
__________ R____________N
_________ U_____________ A
_________Y _______________O
_________ A Y E U D O O H E
|
And
Quote: | Subject 4./10
________________ L
_______________ L __U
______________ S_____I
_____________H _______A
____________A ________ E
__________ T ___________ T
_________ I ______________ I
________ A _______________ G
__________ E C M U I Y A N O
|
In the original posts there were spaces where I've got underscores they were just to stop the forum messing with the formating.
Also I checked out the recent visitors list:
Anyway I'm gonna try and solve the puzzle myself tomorrow on the train on the way to work. Just thought I'd post it so others can get working on it.
Will post it on UO and the DEG in a minute. Thought I'd give the GT the exclusive |

Your comment about this reminded me that I had also gotten an odd hood invite from a name I didn't recognize. I went back to look at it, the invite ws for eEoaah's hood. I linked over, and found two more triangle puzzles:
Quote: | Subject 4/10
_______________ L
______________ I_ M
_____________ A___ N
____________ T______T
___________ H_______ D
__________ C_________ H
_________ G___________ N
_________M ____________ S
_________ E? O M N T M Y O
|
And
Quote: | Subject 5/10
_________________ H
_______________ E _ N
______________ O____M
_____________E ______ L
____________S ________ E
__________ A __________ S
_________ L ____________ M
________ T ______________ T
__________ O N E N E N R A H
|
The visitor list on this hood was short, and shows these characters all connected. I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how to extract it from my ki.
More fuel for the fire I guess!

btw Dan, thanks for the triangle templates! _________________

I appear to have been the recipient of a similar invitation, from Tyrehl. himself (note the dot).
I registered at DEG so that I could post this information there as well, but first I got a database error, and then I was denied (d'ni'd?) permission to post to the discussion thread. It said: "Sorry, you do not have permission to reply to that topic". _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

I guess that thread must be for actual members of the guild
woops, maybe I shoulda posted it in the public section.
Been playing around with the letters. Its probably another Ceaser Cypher (I think thats what they are called) the trick is working out how the hell you read it, clockwise, counterclockwise, left to right. If you get the wrong one even if you have the right cypher you just get jibberish. |

I agree, so far they've all been Caeser cyphers, but he usually splits them somewhere in the middle and the second bit has to be read backwards. where to start on these triangles? Notice at least one has punctuation in it, that may be a starting place...

By reading them around the sides (clockwise or anti-clockwise) I've picked up some interesting letter patterns but so far my search for key vowels using a cypher hasn't gone so well
------
Just received another Triangle via Ki-Mail.
Will transcribe it later. It is however labelled: 5. |

Please, please, please....if anyone runs into the WE or is able to communicate with them via the KI.....let them know that I have temporarily lost access to the Cavern. Hopefully by the end of the week I will solve my "transportation" problems.
Thank you. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Hmm!
Cyc's comment gave me an idea. I was looking at "zuh" and thinking it had to have a meaning. Originally I tried to map it to the word "one" but that didn't work. Then I thought, perhaps zuh = top.
Code: | abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
uvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrst | Thus
Hmm... Close but not quite.
Let's roll that 3rd letter through the same cypher a few more times.
h->b, b->v, v->p.
So, put the third letter through the cypher 4 times and 'zuh' becomes 'top'. Is this finding a coincidence?
Or should I have stayed with 'b', recognizing that it is an inverse 'p' (flip it upside down) and seen some meaning in that, representing the third side of the triangle?
Update
No, no, I have it wrong. Rehchoortahn says 'zuh' is D'ni for 'end'.
Discussion on Uru Obsession
I'll post another message below with certain findings thus far

I got another one of those triangles too. I'll post it when I can transcribe it. _________________ KI: 34353 |

Update: The transcriptions posted below won't be helpful! We need the correct spacing between letters to solve the puzzle.
Observations:
(1) There are now 10 distinct triangles reported by different people.
(2) Some puzzles are numbered with a dot, some are not. I believe these are like "Tyrehl" versus "Tyrehl." - intentional.
(3) According to Rehchoortahn,
1. "zuh" is D'ni for "end".
2. "sehn" is D'ni for "three".
3. "Glo" is D'ni for "I start". ("Deosil" is not a D'ni word.)
(3) Every one of these triangles has the same number of characters.
(4) There are 5 pairs of triangles with the same corner letters. Two 2's, Two 3s, Two 4s, Two 5s and the first and last make a final set. (Noticed by andys1376.)
(5) Clues we've received from WE will be added to the bottom of the list.
I am continuing to update this post as we get more information.

Okay the one I have is the fourth one, the same that CAGrayWolf got in a KI-Mail.
Admittedly I've never been up on the specifics of the WE stuff, but these puzzles are fun. I hope they keep it up. _________________ KI: 34353 |

Cyc, could you please check the message as I posted it above carefully versus what you got in KI-Mail? That particular one is the one I could not read clearly because CAGrayWolf's picture was too small/blurry, so some of the letters are an educated guess! _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.
