In my high school choir a few years ago, we sang such a beautiful arrangement of that blessing. _________________ Jaharen

We sing that at my church upon occasion as well.
We usually sing it when someone special to the congregation is moving.
I purchased the anthem for our choir in memory of my father-in law.
He was a great tenor, who sang in the style of Tony Bennett.
God Bless Irish Tenors!!! |

*Raises his large Martini, Shaken, not stirred*
This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand
In a...desperate land........
And as MacArthur said, "We Shall Return". _________________ AKA John Drake (JDrake06) Ex-GoG .......Be Seeing You. |

Ooh, martini!
Gin, extra dry, extra dirty, shaken.
Cheers! _________________ #Brian Fioca

Shut not your doors to me proud libraries,
For that which was lacking on all your well-fill'd shelves, yet needed most, I bring,
Forth from the war emerging, a book I have made,
The words of my book nothing, the drift of it every thing,
A book separate, not link'd with the rest nor felt by the intellect,
But you ye untold latencies will thrill to every page.

Perhaps we should be starting a quotations thread here too. _________________

Toasts with a coke (Ameretto cheesecake gets me drunk).
