I swear... if the "shutting down" of Live was just some sort of Plot Device?!?!

Just the thought of it makes me so angry I could spit!! _________________ KI 182798

Who knows, I can't Cyan shutting down Live as part of the plot.
I think that as IMForeman, Dr Greer and several others were the very first explorers allowed in the cavern by the DRC back in 2002 this might be part of the expansion pack. Maybe we won't be so lonely down in the cavern? A fleeting glimpse of them running somewhere hiding? Or maybe helping out with a puzzle, a useful hint or something. I don't know. All speculation |

Well, we came upon Yeesha in Prime even though we couldn't interact with her. Same with Zandi. They can continue that process with anyone they want. So right, maybe the City won't be so desolate afterall. Maybe there will be some nice folks with something to say once in a while and a helpful hint or two. Who knows? It's all very exciting. I'm already starting to get that same little rush like I got before I received my invitation for Live. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Yes indeed, especially since IMForeman is a member of Safety First. Heh... I always knew those guys/gals had a little of The Great Tree sap running through their veins! _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

I wonder whether this is actual plot, or whether they're just having fun. They're the original beta testers; we know they can keep a secret, if Cyan tells them to do something like this... _________________ The laws contrived by the Proud are their security, and their undoing. What I find interesting is the picture that IMF posted today showing the view from a neighborhood balcony, where the telescope use to be. There is no mist that surrounds the cavern anymore. You can clearly see to the other side and the surroundings.
Another interesting item I noticed is that IMF has a considerably different KI than what we have been using.
I wasn't here when the early beta was going on, so I can't tell if this is something from an earlier time, or recent. But if it's recent, then it will be worth following the storyline

It's actually an older version of the KI.
Sorry it took me so long to post here. I had a great big long speech I wanted to make, but IMF beat me to it. The fact of the matter is that we decided as a group that we're not ready to let go quite yet. We were finally allowed to come out as AE's (literally last Friday), and IMF decided that if we were going to come out, that the door would be thrown open so wide as to bust it off its hinges. We ate, slept and breathed Uru for a long time, and as a result we all feel somewhat responsible for how things go.
I hope our little "rebellion" gives everyone a ray of hope.
Shorah,
Eric |

Thanks Eric for keeping us posted, and it's good to see that not everyone was forced out of the cavern. If you need any supplies, just let me know. If nothing else, I can make a quick run to Krispy Kreme for donuts _________________ Uru Live KI #: 69208
