I've been channeling, I mean using Gort as my forum avatar since 1997 or so. Wink

After 9 months (approx.) of being unable to play MO:UL due to the AGEIA problem, I am finally back. A surprise birthday laptop this week has returned me to the Cavern and I am having a great time. Love all the new stuff.
Back to Gort for a sec, a remake of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" is in the process of being made and I am very wary. The original is the best in my eyes but I guess I will give a new one a chance but bad memories of worse remakes in the past few years still make me shudder.

Too many remakes are hitting the screens. It only serves the theory that there are no more new ideas.

Movie remakes aside, I've been shuddering at how many films are being remade to Broadway productions.

Some, I've enjoyed (Spamalot), and some downright frighten me (Xanadu).
