I think this is exactly what they are saying- they are trying to eliminate the log in and "auth response failed" messages, and they are taking the servers down so that they can do this most efficiently.

I think the new shard, plot stuff, etc., is pretty much scheduled for the 23rd, or thereabouts.

Well, the "auth response failed" messages are still happening. Vandel just invited Maharet & myself to Gareesen (sp), and I just got that message while linking from his Relto.

Vandel, thanks for the invite, even if I could'nt quite make it.

No problem, we didn't find much (in other words nothing), and I left soon after we got there. We were looking to see if we could wear those suits, and play with the control boards but no luck. Maritimer happened to get in a suit, an earlier time that day, and he was transported into the training zone thing, then he got stuck and had to log out and back in. Maybe we can try again sometime Smile

The Cyan Worlds computers are named after various people from the worlds of D'ni, such as Sirrus, Achenar, Cho, Atrus, and Katran. Sirrus and Achenar used to be the web server(s?), but then they were taken down I think--so now I guess Achenar is back from the dead as a shard.
