I'm hoping that's the case, Saxy.
Believe me, I want the site too. |

I agree with Sax and Daed. (Daed Saxy?)
I've got ideas for visual design, too, and just not quite enough motivation yet to put together a mock-up.
Plus, Daed, aren't you pretty busy with school? _________________ ~Moiety Jean

Let's just say I will have the time to make the website when the need arises. |

So much for "If you build it, they will come."
I have not been harassing you over the site because you asked us not to, and I know how I hate to be harrangued with "Are you done yet?" questions. Should I take your most recent words as an invitation to reverse this policy? _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Hmm whenever I meet someone in Cavern who shows the right kind of interest and asks interesting questions of our situation I often point them to www.thegreattree.com but a forum with years worth of posts can be a bit daunting.
Perhaps a front page with some basic info wouldn't be a bad idea. A little "about us" section, a very very brief synopsis of our history, the documentaries page, an upcoming events page, a page on our members and a page about joining.
Something a little more comprehensible to a new explorer or even a veteran who may have misconceptions about our little community. |

Are you interested in new members? I thought membership was closed indefinitely. _________________ Ham Radio KE5JBX

The whole thing.
Exactly what he said.
And in just the way he said it.

Yeah, I have just tried to lay low and fit in and join some of the discussions all while trying to play it cool and not press the membership issue. Mainly because I figured you guys were focused on where you want the group to go and how/if you'll be involved in the cavern's story once it's open to all. I've downloaded the documentaries and tried to learn more about the history of TGT. But some guidance on how to join and upcomming events would be great. I spoke to Saxy a bit because I have known her for a while but my ears perked so I thought it was time to bring it up... _________________ Ham Radio KE5JBX

I think it's good you guys are talking to others about what TGT is all about and piquing people's interests, but it's still tough to recruit more members right now during these volatile times. We're not quite sure what's going on yet which makes it that much more challenging to decide how we're making people members... on what grounds. So to all those interested in becoming members, I say just be patient and see what the 15th brings us. I think we'll be in a better position to consider membership after that time. _________________
