I don't know how many of you guys frequent the DRC forums; I try not to if I can help it.
However, when I see a new post from RAWA, I usually take the time to read it.
It's completley OOC, but you guys have to read this. I think it addresses many of the things we've discussed here, and in a very meta way.
Discuss amongst yourselves. _________________

Honestly, I don't think it really tells us anything we didn't know before. The story plays out on many levels. The issue, i think, is there are just not enough 'pixels' available yet. _________________ .yahvo kehnehn taigahntahv .taigahntahv bihv

Rawa clarifies a few things, and puts them in one place. Yes, it's pretty much what we thought, but it is nice to have the confirmation.
Still, I wonder how much attention he's paying to what goes on daily in the Cavern. Has he noticed the falling population? I sometimes think the Cyan folks are up on a cloud someplace, occasionally dropping tidbits over the side for the faithful, and floating serenely on in the assumption that everything is sunny and warm down below.
I wonder if the game will be around long enough for any of the big things he talks about to happen. I hope so, and I was one of many faithful playing UU in hopes that it would bring about the resurrection. I hope... but I have growing doubts. |

I don't know about falling population. There was a rush of enthusiasm at first, but I think that people were setting their expectations too high. I can speak for myself, I know I was expecting a lot more out of the Cavern than what came about. So I expect a dip in population at first, but then a slow but steady rise again. _________________ KI: 34353 |

I know it seems like there is a fall in population, but I don't know if we have any actual numbers to back that up. The only non-anecdotal indicator I have seen is the GameTap website, where Uru is still listed as the most played game on GameTap, and has been for at least a month.
I do know that people have been generally disgruntled lately on many of the forums as far as I can tell. A number of people have raised some very good points and concerns, I think. However, game forums are always full of concerns and complaints. So I can't take that as gospel on how the game is going. _________________ .yahvo kehnehn taigahntahv .taigahntahv bihv
