I just bought two tickets for Video Games Live to be performed at Yale University. I had kind of forgotten all about this show but my wife heard about it a couple of days ago and reminded me. Video games are not her cup of tea but she said she would like to go. I checked on tickets Monday and Tuesday and it didn't look like I was going to have any luck getting two seats together. But, I tried buying them a different way today and...tadaaaa! manged to get two decent seats in the 4th row balcony. And it's this Saturday! No waiting.

I hope I like it. It's a 45 minute drive. Hehe.

Wah!

This has been to Seattle and San Jose... now most of the future tour seems to be over on the East Coast. (Got an update on dates just a few days ago in e-mail myself.)

I wish they'd make DVDs of the event available and sell those. I'd buy.

Looks like a return to Seattle is on the drawing board. No specifics as of yet. And there's plenty of VGL junk for sale...just no DVD yet.

I saw the first Seattle show, and it was fantastic, supposedly, the show is even bigger now.

A repeat Seattle show has been on the books for almost 2 years now, with no date. I wonder what the hangup is.

I went when GDC was in San Jose last (much thanks to Khatie). It was an awesome show, and meeting Jack Wall and Tim Larkin for the first time was pretty intense.

The show is coming to Dallas in June, and tickets go on sale in March... I can hardly wait!
