Most computers come with some kind of picture editing program. Simply go into the program, open the pic in the editor, then there should be some kind of resize option. Just adjust the pixels down to a smaller number and save. It's really quite simple. _________________ Jaharen

Actually, it's a little more complicated, in that it's really a link to a photo.
Other forums have automatically adjusted it, so that it is the proper size.
Apparently not so here.
Hmmmm, don't mind me, I'll try something else ... |

OK, now I REALLY look dumb; I forgot to log in before I posted that last quote!
I do like the image, though. It's a fractal landscape done by two computer programmers/mathematicians: H. O. Peitgen and H. Jurgens, I believe.
They were pioneers in the field about 15 years ago.
I'll try to fix it or delete the link. Sorry! |

Fixed it! This forced me to "discover" my "personal web space" that I've had for the past few years and have never used!
Edited the picture down to size as well, thanks to your advice, Jaharen ... thanks!
I guess an old dog CAN learn a few new tricks!!! |

I know that the pic has to be a link to another site. I use another forum where I can upload pics to it to host my images. I did the same thing with my signature. What I do is adjust the size of the pic to whatever size I need, most often 64x64 for avatars, and then post it on the website host. Regardless, I'm glad I could help in whatever way I did. _________________ Jaharen
