Returning

It is odd being here again after loosing myself

I don’t feel like part of this, and yet I feel like I am here for something

Odd

This restoration is not right. It’s not that it’s wrong just that it will only rebuild not restore

Rebuilding is about slicing and fixing on the outside
Rebuilt trees make fences and walls

Restoration is about growth and life on the inside
Restored trees make fruit and shade

She is making sure that the tree has begun to grow again

What is D’ni?

What is this kingdom?
I have read of d’ni the people
I have lived in d’ni the place
I have spoken d’ni the language

A kingdom is made of both life and belief
It is only real with both
Lives without belief is a kingdom of cards
Only wait to fall
Belief without lives is a kingdom of dead
Only waiting to live

But I don’t really know them

How can I know other people?

They are revealed only in their words and actions

I remember what they showed me before
And I must find that again

She has heard them

I'm still boggled by all this new material! And I haven't finished playing the expansion yet! Have you already finished or are you working as you go?

That second line should be "It is odd being here again after losing myself", unless Phil misspelled the word in the original text?

So Phil has gone to the Bahro? I think it can be assumed that he speaks of the Bahro, but of course, that is an assumption. They're calling him, and he doesn't know why, but he will know why once he goes to them. The lines "I remember what they showed me before / And I must find that again" strike me as very important. What could they have showed him? On the Journey? Something that others who took the Journey also experienced, or something that was specific to him, yet occurred on the Journey? Or when he says 'showed' and 'find', maybe he doesn't refer to them showing him a place or a thing, maybe he refers to some abstract idea or feeling they communicated to him? Like a lesson? Though I suppose any conclusion is far from being established, I must speculate.
