Sorry Professor, I wasn't sure which forum to put that question in so I tried to be vague. Anyway, here it is again:

Is it just me, or do there seem to be books where the scortch marks should be in that last image? And is that person climbing out of the fireplace or the tower?

Aaaaaaaalll---righty then.

I think the player is stepping out from the fireplace. Pretty low. Plus I think the bookshelf turned into stairs to go to the tower elevator if I'm remembering correctly.

I'm going to recheck the video and get back to you on the other part of your question.......unless someone beats me to it. If not, I'll edit this response.

Coming out of the fireplace. For Sure.

The right side of the screen is the doorway to the outside, but it seems to be closed, which indicates that the bookcase is open, revealing the passage to the tower elevator.

The left side of the screen is the nook where Achenar's Blue Book once sat. It seems that something is there... and that something seems to be rotating. I don't think it's a blue book, but it IS something.

How can you tell what's on the shelf where Achenar's book was? The only place I've seen this new trailer was at www.thepathoftheshell.com and it was extremely fuzzy. Is there a better place to see it? I agree that the main entrance appears closed, so the tower passage is open.

Same place, Jaharen, and it is fuzzy. It's either a trick of the "camera" or something white-ish is rotating on the ledge. It appears to be below where the lamp is/was otherwise I'd say that's what it was.

It's a mystery........
