Cyan Worlds has just unveiled Untìl Uru, bringing Uru back online! The fan community already has a few server shards running, and are now available to the public. Check out http://plasma.cyanworlds.com/ for more details.

According to the site, there are no planned updates to Untìl Uru, and this is *not* Uru Live. This is great news however, for the Uru community can now, for a small fee, return to the worlds which brought us together. See you in Uru!

EDIT: Uh, this looks a tad involved. Once someone has completed this successfully, please let me know here. I have some questions. It looks like this patch dealie might interfere with stuff that I'm doing with Uru right now.

I have heard (keyword, not verified) that the heek tables will be fixed soon, and that the wall in Gahreesen is functional.

I'm set up on the CC shard now...

A few notes:
1. It's great to be back with others online at the same time
2. You might have to start your avatar from scratch - I think I must have missed the "Import single player character" checkbox or something...
3. Did I mention it's great to be back?
4. $6 for a month (minimum) more of Uru with friends... heck yeah I plunked my money down.
5. Did I mention ... oh, guess I did. Smile

It's also nifty that the voice feature is re-enabled... as I never got to play with that during my stint in Prime.
