What the heck is going on? Has anyone else been experiencing this lately (or ever)?

Uru is sticking at the initial loading screen...in the exact same place every time! I haven't been able to get to D'mala in a few days and it's very frustrating.

Last night I was able to log into two other shards no problem. But, everytime I try D'mala it freezes in the same place. MOST of it loads. I get past all the green bars, and the load bars with words ("fetching player", "authorizing", etc.) but then I get to these two gray bars and it stops. I've even left it running in the background while doing other things to see if it's thinking but when I come back it's right where I left it. Oh, and I'm always able to ping the server successfully as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Crying or Very sad

I was on yesterday, and I noticed you were listed as on Relto. (I'm sorry, I'm not a stalker, I'm just... curious. I like to see where people are.) You were listed as online for the whole time I was on, and you were still there when I left.

Apparently you got far enough in to be recognized as online, even though it was getting stuck. Weird!

I know a lot of us were stuck at "Requesting Player List" yesterday and the day before, but I think that problem has been corrected.

Other than that... I have no idea. Sorry! That must be incredibly frustrating! I hope you're able to find a solution soon...

I saw you online last night in Relto too, Prof..

but unlike AnnaCat, I WAS stalking you... mwah ha ha...

I didn't have any problem getting into Relto, but I found I went into the Wrong Cavern... I meant to go to the far lonelier one that still has access to Ercana and Ahnonay...

I hope things get better for you...

UPDATE: I uninstalled the whole kit and kaboodle and re-installed it. Still sticking in the same place. Now I'm getting nervous. I don't want to be shut out of the Cavern. Should I shoot an e-mail to Cyan? If so, I haven't been following all the technical threads. Anyone know who I should contact?

Thanks very much for the link, Annacat! Hopefully I'll never need it. For some odd reason I was able to make it into the Cavern a few minutes ago and did some running around. I'll try again a little later on and see if my luck has changed.

Oh, and Kodama was in his Relto while I was there. Not sure what he was up to.
