(Cross-posted to UO.)
Kev and I finally got the photos of our wedding! Here's one of (from left to right) Brian Fioca, Moiety Jean, Kev, me and Eleri after Kev and I were presented with the Uru congrats card you guys "signed." (For those of you who don't know, Kev and I met in the cavern over some philosophical discussion in the pub back in 2003, as did Brian and Jean. Uru brings people together!)
Jean and Bri were so thoughtful; they made us a collage to put on our sign-in table with various photos of Kev and I inside the cavern and out. It says "From Uru to these two..."
And here's Kev and his groomsmen. I just couldn't resist.
And here's our mondo gallery from the wedding. It was out of the cavern on Lake Washington and Lake Union in Seattle, WA last July:

LOL I thought that was a particularly intense look! I have no idea what I was thinking there. _________________

Right now I don't know anymore for how many hours I'm here now...lol...
Saxy, thank you sooo much for those wonderful insights into the
most probably most beautiful moments of your life...
This album is really outstanding... right now, I thought, I was watching
a Hollywood/Bollywood film (in an absolutely positive sense)...
(picture 1120 is very lovely as well... MJ+Bri )
You both are really a very extraordinary, wonderful and beautiful couple
united in God, in Happiness and Love and I feel honored, that you let us
participate in this miracle...
Saxy, you will always be in our hearts, so, never ever worry about
anything you're doing or not doing to us or whatever... A real love
and/or friendship doesn't depend on "anything" but only the love
and everything coming honestly from the bottom of the heart...
When you come here to us, it feels as if you've never been away,
cause we're always united in our hearts and thus free in the Love
and in the Light ...
God bless you

Thanks Jana! You are so sweet, and you've totally made my day. <3 You say the most genuine things!
Yes, that photo of Bri and Jean (1120) is great! I love the looks on their faces. _________________

A photo of my Halloween evening:
I went to see a Henry Rollins performance with some friends, and then I decided to split from them and go on an adventure around downtown alone. I told myself that the first street parking spot that I could find is where I would park and begin my journey. I inadvertently parked in a eerily vacant area, walked two blocks alone, and found myself on a deserted, scary side street in a costume-dress with a slit in the side of it that went up to my hip, completely exposing my right leg, and some guy was walking towards me. I flipped out and realized that I wasn't being very smart, so I turned around and got even more freaked out when I bumped into a group of guys that were "checking me out" and some guy leaned out of a car and was giving me some cat calls from the street. Sooooo......... I nearly ran back to my car, but had I been a little more aware of my surroundings, I would've noticed that I had parked right in front of a bookstore that was also a pseudo-bar. Bingo! Went inside, found a book called Free and Female (oh, the irony of that book that evening), and had the most delicious (and expensive) glass of wine I've had in a while.
And I got home safe.
The end! _________________

Glad you are safe, Saxy!
I bet Kev is extra-glad, too. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.
