One comment on text color: I agree with a previous comment that a little more contrast between the background and the text would be nice. The text doesn't have to be exactly the color of the background of the logo. A brighter text color would make things easier to read.

Should be easy to do.

A comment on URLs: I think links should be more distinguishable from non-clickable text. Ideally, they should always be underlined; I dislike themes that make non-underlined links, because underlining is the traditional hypertext presentation method of saying "You can click on this."

I'll look into doing it, but it's left over from the original phpBB css layout. I cringe at changing those because there are so many places you have to do it (and it can lead to inconsistencies)... I typically agree with you though. At least we need a different link color. I had made it pinker, but it seems to have been changed back. Can anyone suggest a different color? _________________ #Brian Fioca

As a personal preference, I like (relatively) low contrast text-to-background ratios on a computer monitor, especially on dark backgrounds. I find it a lot easier on my eyes. There's a bell curve for sure but as a general rule, I find mid-contrast to be my favourite.
Where it's at right now is great though. _________________ KI: 34353 |

I, personally, am also experiencing less eye-strain with the current color scheme than I did with the last one. _________________ ~Moiety Jean

I'm diggin the current white letters on dark background. I have all my MS Office apps set the same way - white on blue. Much easier on the eyes for me, and very different than yer generic forum out there in cyberland.
Is it just me or are cyc's pics not showing up? All I get are red X's...
Either that or Cyc is showing off his latest Fall Fashion Line, the Finest In Designer X Icons. _________________

Rils, I bet if you do a hard refresh (shift-reload generally) the pictures will show up. If not then there might be something weird with firewalls somewhere. _________________ KI: 34353 |

It looks like this one has been forgotten. Can't imagine why (hint: you have to log out to see it).

Was bored, so I made the basic smilies using the orange from the admin branch:

Dunno if those are useful at all. I have a couple fun ones planned, that I'll work on tomorrow. _________________

on most of them, changing the base colour will be really easy.
Here we go...
