Seems to be. Whatever the "report" might have been, it doesn't seem to be there on his journal. I've emailed J. Patrick Greer about it and asked if he could tell me where it is or what it was. He goes by linkerjpatrick on Myst Community. I was surprised, because that name was really familiar to me. Maybe that's his UO name too.

I seemed to have missed something altogether. Who is the "Dr. Greer" mentioned by Zardoz? I'm assuming it's connected to the last couple posts. I can't remember ever hearing of him...

It's funny. I went back and looked at all of linkerjpatrick's post at UO prior to the Cavern opening in November of 2003. They are all the usual OC chatter like everyone else. I always assumed (for some odd reason) that this Greer report was some IC thing that the DRC let out. I never assumed that Greer was an Explorer like us. It's very strange. I'm going to see if I can dig up anything in the older threads in the DRC fora.

On a side note. There are still some interesting things that can be dug up in old threads. Here is an IC Press Release that I found through a linky at UO. Then I went back to the DRC site and couldn't find it. It's probably there, I may have missed it. But later on, when our site has been revamped, I'd like to dig up these gems and put them up.
