Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be gone until Sunday night. Going on a short little trip to the mountains to see some snow and go skiing.
See you when I get back. _________________ #Brian Fioca

It was a great trip. The road back was pretty treacherous and icy (apparently SC doesn't own a single salt truck), but we made it back in one piece. Hopefully we'll have pictures to post soon. |

Here in England were expecting artic conditions this week with temperatures down to -11. No sign of it yet, but it will be nice to see some snow for once. |

Speaking of that Far, I heard last night on the radio that scientists are now predicting an ice age in about 40 years or so for your neck of the planet...gulf stream stopping and major climatic changes; you may want to consider retirement in the good old USA...a cozy cleft in New Mexico, perhaps? _________________ Your friendly neighborhood balladeer,

That doesn't surprise me about another Ice Age. It's happened before, so I'm sure the chances of it happening again are pretty good.
Yep need to find myself a cozy cleft in New Mexico |

Thought I would have been able to edit my above message, but I guess after a certain amount of time that option is removed.
Well our Artic conditions have arrived with a blizzard Started has hailstone and now it's thick white snowflakes, the sky is white as far as the eye can see. Might build a snowman later |

We got snow in New York City last night, too. Doesn't stay white too long, though. Kind of a grey mush.....blaa. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Oh, you're a riot, Alice. A reeeaaal riot.
We enjoyed a pleasant zero wind chill last night....which was, in fact, a lot warmer than last week's thirty below. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |
