Now this is what I call advertising! Three pages of Game tap ads in the December issues of DC Comics. And here's page two:

Why is it every time I see an Uru ad I think of

*At every rendevous, you keep on looking around
Nighttime in the city and the rain keeps falling down*

*Let me tell you how it all works out
Never thought we had so much time to lose
Just learning how to twist and shout
Doesn't matter much which damn beat you use*

Stupid, stupid song! Out of my head with you! Laughing

I always heard "At every rendezvous..." Was I wrong? Oh, could I have been wrong? ::victorian-style faint::

It's so funny you bring up Peter Gabriel. I popped his So album into my car's CD player this morning on my way to work and thought about Prologue. (I listened to that CD a lot around that time. I have a music video set in Eder Kemo to the song "Red Rain" that I play in my head everytime I hear the song. Very Happy )

Man I've always loved Peter Gabriel. In Your Eyes was the first commercial song whose lyrics I knew off by heart. Burn You Up, Burn You Down still reminds me of sitting down and playing Uru. How grand. Very Happy

What's the copy on the ad? The captions under the images are a little hard to read and so's the stuff in the little brown paintstroke section.

*SPASM!*

I have to go pick up Sam Noir 2 today, so I'll fetch a DC comic, too.

*loves BYUBYD, too*

Actually Salsbury Hill makes me think Uru, too.

Thanks Marten! Nice. That's a really great ad.

Oh and yeah it looks to me like "one and all". The O is really thin. Smile

Peter Gabriel has been a long-time favorite of mine, too.

Salisbury Hill always, and I do mean *always*, touches my heart in a way that tells me a deeper, more personal meaning to the song will be apparent to me someday.

And I always thought In Your Eyes was a great love song, even before John Cusak played it on his boom-box in Say Anything.

When I first found out he was writing for Uru, I knew great things were coming...
