Now that URU is going live, again... I wanted to print out a new KI Quick Reference, because my original is aged (curling up on the corners), and out-of-date (old KI numbers for various Shards scribbled all over it).
When I tried to visit Srikandi's Relto to print out a new KI Quick Reference & Emote Guide, I learned that her website had disappeared from the World Wide Web! Next, I tried the Guild of Greeters, and found that their KI Technology webpage had been blocked, even to members of the GoG!
Brian, would it be possible to add a KI Quick Reference & Emote Guide webpage to The Great Tree website? It would be great to have a "printable version" available to our members and, more importantly, draw new URU Explorers our website! _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

I think you can better wait until Live has been launched, or wait for the open beta. Maybe the KI will have more functions in Live. |

If the most recent meeting with the DRC is accurate, Victor Laxman is refactoring portions of the Nexus code and our KIs may work differently... or not at all.... for a time _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Every time I become convinced it's one, I start having doubts thinking it could be the other. |

*takes off his pith helmet for a little while*
This seems like a good time to make a gentle request for visitors to speak IC on this website, and not refer to OOC at all, except in the "Randomness Forum." That means we'll soon ask for no more talking about "Uru Live", "beta", or even, "IC and OOC."
I'm not trying to beat anyone down here. Everyone, including myself, has wobbled in and out of IC. The forum administration has recently discussed returning to an all-IC format, but hasn't really said anything publically yet... and we're going to have to start somewhere.
And please do not be surprised if one day, all of the OOC chatter that is already on the board gets swept away. (In other words, if there are any OOC conversations on this board that you find valuable, keep an archive; they may not last.)
Just a "heads up" note. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

We have discussed moving to IC, but Brian and I at least are not in favor of deleting any of our existing threads on the forums. I don't think we're ready for a complete move to IC just yet either, so don't worry about policing it yet. We should talk about this some more before making any announcements. _________________ ~Moiety Jean

OK!
The prior discussion seemed fairly concrete... I just don't want anyone to be caught unaware when the change begins to happen _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

Being a roleplayer I also prefer to talk about Uru ICly, although sometimes there are times I like to discuss an OOC aspect But I'm happy to talk about those things on the other Uru forums |

Yeah to what John just said. As soon as I start getting lots of juicy story to get my teeth into you'll have a hard time getting me to talk OOC
