Me too, although I can't remember where the tradition comes from. Was it from Sharper? |

I think it was a rumour about the islands page, that it would only return if you had the green lights on in your neighbourhood...
It's ridiculous, and didn't seem to have any basis in truth, but it kind of stuck. _________________ KI: 34353 |

I'd never heard the island page version. Sounds vaguely like the "make it rain so your tree will grow" rumour. I'd always thought the green light thing was somehow meant to symbolise the Great Tree of Possibilities.... somehow.
Its funny how these things develop. |

Oh! The Great Tree of Possibilities! That's probably what we should be telling people instead of the silly islands page story... _________________ KI: 34353 |

By Sharper's Moustache!! Darn right Cyc. How do you expect us to give the impression of being a bunch of kooky, quasi-cultish fanatics if we don't have oddball rituals wrapped in Dogma?! |

I prefer to keep my oddball rituals wrapped in newspaper.
It keeps 'em fresher longer and gives 'em a slight piccante flavor. _________________ KI 182798

Movers and Shakers?
You better not be making fun of my dance moves...
I've seen the way YOU Get Jiggy With It, dear Professor, and you've no room to pass judgement.
Unless you meant something else... then... never mind. _________________ KI 182798

You just have to face it Cuz, there is something about the linking process that renders all guys rythmless. No matter how good a dancer you are on the surface you are reduced to the shuffle clap in the cavern.
Movers and Shakers Prof?
And does anyone have any other suggestions or opinions about the 'hood?
Just before this thread heads the way of Mystgame6... mmm picante. |

I heard that it was associated with Yeesha and that leaving just the green lights on would attract her. That's what I heard in the original prologue all those years ago and I'm going to stick to that one

Yes, I believe you passed that info onto me in the Cavern, Nigel. I remember it had something to do with Yeesha. We still don't know the secret origins of this legend? _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

It was from Sharper. It was an early attempt at seeing how the community could spread the word... it was a subtle sign of solidarity in each hood for the DRC resistance - what would become the Great Tree. _________________ #Brian Fioca
