For those who were in D'ni during 2004 will remember that Sharper had a linking book to a spy room in Teledahn as well as a 2004 journal in the Baron's office.

The first thing I did upon returning to D'ni after the bahro scream was to check both areas and both of these items are missing. Does anyone know where they might be? Does anyone think the DRC took them?

Oh and I meant to throw out this possibility: Do people think Sharper took them?

If he did it seems unusual he'd only take 1 journal. Now if someone wanted to try to hide the existence of a particular journal because of what it contained as well as a particular linking book, only removing 1 journal and leaving the other would make sense as people might not realise there was ever a second journal.

For those who never got to read the 2004 journal you can find a transcript here. However it is unfortunately incomplete.

I don't know if anyone took them, JohnLynch. It could just be that our Teledahn books now link to a different Teledahn where the shelf is bare. This would fit in with some of the other theories going around... dunno though. Remains to be seen.

John, are you sure that transcript is incomplete? It ends where I recall it ending when I read it last..

I seem to recall some more specific entries about certain things, but I can't remember exactly. I could be wrong Smile

As I recall, the DWPR.net archive was missing a few lines from the journal at one point. I don't know if the omissions were ever corrected.

I think Sharper is hanging around in the shadows. So he likely has them. But this is pure speculation on my part.
