(Double-Poast)
But in all seriousness, looks like the explorers have a whole new bag of potatoes to peel. Do you guys think the DRC caught word of the warning Yeesha gave us when we returned to the cavern? Perhaps they know a bit more about what she was referring to than we do.
Whatever the DRC hides from us, I'm sure Yeesha will expose in time. But it's the principle of it. Now that things are being "ran more like a business," the people who are not vital to the DRC's plans are going to be kept in the dark. This sounds familiar... _________________

I'm actually on the DRC's back about being open and honest because I trust Yeesha even less then I trust the DRC So considering I can't trust Yeesha at the moment, I have to trust the DRC. So when the DRC does things that lessen my trust, I get upset.
Saxy wrote: | Now that things are being "ran more like a business," the people who are not vital to the DRC's plans are going to be kept in the dark. This sounds familiar... | The fact they're "running it as a business" concerns me. I want the D'ni Ages and city to be treated as a restoration/archaeological site as much as humanly possible (which given us explorers are there isn't completely possible). I don't mind going months without any new Ages being released. But I do mind information that the DRC can easily provide or access to areas that are completely safe and not extremely necessary to the DRC's restoration efforts being restricted.
Now if it were a business, I wouldn't exactly expect it to be completely open, although I would expect regular Ages and/or areas being made available. However IMO D'ni's restoration shouldn't be run as a business. Because that means that the DRC might take shortcuts and release unsafe areas, or they might have an area ready for exploration, and sit on it for months because they want to hold it in reserve until they go through a period where they can't release any Ages/areas.
Make sense? |

Adding the "at the moment" was simply my way of saying I'm not unreasonably distrustful of Yeesha and that no matter what she does I'll never trust her. Just that I'm distrustful of her, at the moment

Boys, boys... pause for just a moment.
We are all Explorers on a Journey through the Ages, which, the Bahro tell me, will be revealed. So, take a deep breathe, shake hands, and let's meet down in Ae'gura so we can continue our quest.

By the way, RAWA is back... he posted this message on the DRC Forum:

<not-so-subtle hint>
Hey, even if you're not particularly interested in the Town Hall meeting on 12/19, everyone who has access to D'mala and is able to be in the Cavern during that hour (11am-12pm Cavern time) will probably not regret just being anywhere in the Cavern at that time.

My bad... I was reading the thread on the DRC website, stating that RAWA was missing (or in Maui). Should have posted on the DRC Forum to set the record straight... _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

RAWA isn't missing. I think Rand Miller at Cyan would be very unhappy if he were.
Dr. Watson, however, is still very much missing. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.
