For those who haven't seen, Nick White stopped by the cavern earlier and informed people that the oh-so-mysterious Cate will make her public debut tomorrow! I'm sure it'll be while I'm at work, but maybe if yer around during the day you can keep yer eyes open for me... 
Any intelligent questions we want to ask should the opportunity arise?

I am really getting frustrated with this. I really wish they would start having appearances at other times then mid afternoon during the week when most of North America is at work.

I don't mind for now... it's just "Preview story."
But at launch I am hopeful for more varied times. They did try to do that during Prologue (a point I've tried to drive home by time-stamping every event we've covered so far... the attention to that detail has distinct purpose).

Yeah I know it's just Preview but it is dissheartening to miss almost every visit on the DRC to the cavern. But heay I got to meet Wheely so there is that

I wonder if Cate's introduction, perhaps timed with the removal of City barriers...IS the official re-opening of the Cavern.

All I'm going to say is "Yeah, that." (I'm particularly frustrated because in the countless hours I've spent in the cavern between Prologue I and Prologue II, I have never been able to talk to any DRC member. Awful timing, I suppose.)
I guess I'm just reminding myself that this is only Prologue II and the best is yet to come. *crosses fingers* I also need to have more patience and let the chips fall where they may.
As for questions.... I'm hard-pressed to come up with anything besides the obvious.
What is your relation to the DRC?
When did you join the DRC [if she's a member]?
How long have you been in the cavern?
Have you worked much with Nick White?
Do you know of Dr. Watson's whereabouts?
What is your take on the Phil Henderson incident of 2003?
Do you know the location of Phil? Is he safe?
How were you recruited for this project?
The DRC have yet to enlist the help of the explorers. Where do the explorers fall into the DRC's plans for the cavern?
Do you know of Yeesha? Have you been on the Journey?
I'll ponder this over some more. I may not be able to be there tomorrow, but at least I can help add to some "intelligent questions" for you guys to ask. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Rils!

On the one hand I'm hoping for that. On the other hand I want a heck of a lot more hype leading up to MO:UL's official launch.

I'm unlikely to make it (if I'm awake and around its guaranteed no ResEngs or DRC members will be  ). But I've got quite a few questions I'd like to ask:Why does your involvement with the DRC make the release of information even more sparse then before? Why does it being run "like a business" require information be even more restricted? (Source, quote "ireenquench: Nick, you can't talk freely about your work? | Nick White: things are starting to run a little more like a business now. With Cate involved.)
How long have you been involved with the restoration and/or DRC?
Why did you make the DRC wait until today before information about you could be revealed? Is this indicative on how information is going to be restricted in the future in all things?
From 2002 to 2004 the only consideration when opening a new area was safety. Now there are more considerations. Are you responsible for the new considerations? If so, what are they, and why have you put them in place?
Can you expand on how the DRC will be run more like a business?
If someone would like to ask them (reworded is fine) I'd be very appreciative

This is an excellent question, which they keep tip-toeing around. I'd add the word "specifically" to it - "where do the explorers specifically fit into the DRC's plans?" Otherwise you'll get vague answers about the future and "there will be opportunities..." What opportunities do they envision?

Updates today at The Cavern Today: January 3, 2007. The first few tidbits of information are out... including the removal of a few barriers. /cheer. I will not spoil more than that, so that quahog42 and others who post at UO may bask in their deserved glory for getting the scoop first.

I have to admit, if the new age is just one of the small garden ages of which we've seen pictures, I will be underwhelmed, too.
But I am very eager to try entering Kadish Tolesa from the Ae'gura that is part of our world.
