How did you get those nice and smooth camera shots? Last I checked, flymode was still jerky -- but then again I haven't used it for ages. |

Uhhh....
Nice, smooth camera shots can only be captured offline because I don't like to crash shards.

The final release of Uruglow has been pulled from my website until further notice. I heard from someone else that there is a 2 month moratorium starting at the time of release for video shots from new Ages.
I'm uploading a 99% complete copy of the video minus the offending shot.

"heard from someone" official or non-official? I don't know that I ever saw that stipulation in a EULA... Certianly could have missed it though. I think the video is killer, nice work!

yeah I'd be tempted to check out the officialness of that statement. Seems once the area is available in the open beta it should be fair game to show it to others. I don't know though, I'm not a lawyer. :/

All: I have very high confidence that the information given to me is legitimate. It comes from someone else who recently applied to Cyan Legal for permission for a project. It sounds like Cyan Legal is churning through the requests so maybe they'll get to mine soon. But the bottom line is that legally, EULA or not, Cyan's material is copyrighted and showing 15 seconds of video from a new Age w/o their permission is a no-no.
It won't kill me or anyone else to put this video on hold until late March or April.
