I'm really disappointed that, while it was everyone's intention to have a nice, polite dialogue, some one just ruined it and preventing us from having a dialogue. I never experienced such arrogance before... Mad

I hope we can have a proper dialogue with Ms. Alexander... I hope she'll still be able to talk with us.

You know, there is already an organization whose purpose it is to organize meetings, and who already have the ear of the DRC. *coughd'netcough*. Collaboration is a good thing Smile

I was going to ask you guys (you, Eleri, everyone else that were once part of the late DRC Liaison group) how the last few exclusive meetings went with Cate. I vaguely remember hearing that Cate was relatively unresponsive. Am I wrong? What went down in these meetings so we can learn to avoid it and prevent it from happening again?

I wasn't in a lot of them. My second-hand impression was that Cate was responsive. Just firm in her position. And that she respects leaders, people who take initiative.

Unfortunately, the only way to deal with trolls in-game seems to be ignoring them. But everyone would have to ignore the troll (including Cate) in order for it to be effective.

I too have been recently wondering if Sydney and Vixen Online are old members with new guises. I've seen Vixen in the cavern for a while now, so she's not exactly new. But that still doesn't mean she's not a secondary avatar of a community member. I guess it doesn't really matter one way or the other.

I hope that we are able to establish a professional and effective line of communication of Cate. Today was a huge setback. She left with a negative impression from an event that was supposed to be positive. It's a shame that some people go through such great efforts to organize good events, and it only takes 1 or 2 people to completely destroy them. :thumbsdown:

I'm not sure what the whole "counter-protest" was about, I missed it by scant minutes and had trouble linking into the Beginner's Bevin post-city.

See, this is why we can't have nice things. Why do we always end up having to track people down, cornering them, and trying to talk to them in private?
