Explorers want to believe in something. They want to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Maybe it's just a natural way to deal with discovering that the universe is suddenly more complex than it was before. But it makes the explorers easily manipulated. _________________ .yahvo kehnehn taigahntahv .taigahntahv bihv

Problem is, when Doug really does come back (as Nick seems to think he will), we're going to encounter a har case of "Crying Wolf" syndrome. Nobody will believe it!
Hopefully the ResEng's are notified or they'll try and haul him off... _________________

Well, I'm glad it wasn't the real Doug, he acted so strange and it just felt wrong (not surprisingly, since he's not the real Sharper of course). |

Yeah this isn't the same Cavern as it was all those years ago, is it. |

Nope, it's not. And it never will be. So we can either sit around handwringing and wanting The Good Ol' Days, or we can start doing some positive modeling and take the cavern back from the asshats. _________________

Well, I'm not disappointed because I wasn't expecting it to be the same cavern as the good 'ol days, but this definitely was a wake-up call.
I think we'll take the cavern back from the asshats when the real Sharper returns and decides to work with a legit group. _________________

That makes me so mad. I seriously hope they tracked down that person and banned them permanently from the cavern. There is NO excuse for willfully impersonating someone else in an attempt to use their notariety to influence other people.
Eleri, I would love to take back the cavern. I have no idea how even to begin. _________________ ~Moiety Jean
