Since I work from home, I can make the meetings... If FIOCA wants a representative of The Great Tree present at the Guilds Council meetings, I'll throw in my KI #50911.

Just so you know, I would, in The Great Tree tradition, rabble-rouse every chance I got! Something about ResEng Bailey referring to us as terrorists just rubbed me the wrong way...

Okay Mystlander ive added you.

It's basically an open (IC) discussion session (this time around) for all Guilds and organisations in the cavern to attend and discuss their purpose for many new explorers to understand to know who to look to for help or if they are interested or want to join that "guild". Nothing too diplomatic just a ressurance for the community and a little "enlightenment" and hopefully renewal of your organisations purpose in the new D'ni! Very Happy

Please remember if we send someone to this it's pretty much just to be there, not to explain ourselves or start anything. Just to listen. If we're going to do any PR I'd rather that the officers choose an officer to go.

By the way, although the introductory message indicated Thursdays, the initial meeting appears to be on Friday (the 16th), the day after launch, around 1 PM Eastern, 11 AM Cavern, 10 AM Pacific

Without even knowing what these meetings will turn out to be, and since the Cavern will be reopening soon, I think it's pretty important that we control our image at this.

I'd prefer to go myself. But I can't. Sad

Since I can't be there, I'd like to send an officer. Saxy can't attend on Friday. Jean is available, and I think she's a good candidate.

Since I care so much about what gets said, I probably should've volunteered to go myself. I've been involved in the public relations discussions lately so I can speak for the group. I can also get on the horn with Brian to consult. Mystlander, thanks for stepping up, but I'll go ahead and handle this meeting.
