Because the neighbourhood keep disappearing off the public links list in the Nexus, feel free to give out nexus invites to the GT 'hood, if you haven't been doing so already. _________________ KI: 34353 |

Yeah that was a bit of pain last night. I finally put Mystlander on my buddies list to get an invite. Thanks for that Mysty. /thumbsup _________________ "Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...

Yeah, I have also got an invite a few days or weeks ago... hadn't noticed it before. But thanks Mystlander. |

I make it a habit of changing the hood to private and back to public every time I enter the cavern, as well and stopping by the hood. _________________ KI# 00635697 |

Because it will restore the Great Tree to the public list of Neighborhoods if it has dropped off. _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

That's also a good way of getting real-time numbers of people in the cavern, hoods, etc. while in the Nexus. Just remember to switch it back. |

What is the situation regarding Hood membership right now? I recently heard of an individual who was not an original GT member receiving Hood memership. |

I'm not sure, but I'd be willing to open it up a bit more. I'm not sure how the other members feel about that, and I understand if we're still keeping membership pretty limited. Both sides of the issue have pros and cons right now.
My argument for opening up membership again is that I feel we've got a good enough idea of how the new restoration is going. By now I believe we'd have known if there were going to be any serious issues and repercussions with membership, and it probably wouldn't hurt to bring in a few new neighbours/members...
I still want to make sure we're all 'hoodies that can work together and not get into fights though. _________________ KI: 34353 |

So how does one exactly become a member? Other then registering for the board and getting an invite to da 'hood yo? _________________ "Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...

I think some new blood might liven up the ole 'Hood but I still feel that potential new members should have some sense of our history and how we "operate". In fact, I would love to hear what their interest is in joining The Great Tree. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Ummm...I like to play URU Live, hang with some new virtual friends, and learn some new tricks and tips from more "experienced" players. Isn't that enough? LOL!
I wouldn't call me fresh blood either. More like the coagulated stuff on the inside of a band-aid that you pick off a sore when its been healing for a couple of days...eeewww!!!
I'm sooo immature! Is that a prerequiste? It should be.
Please, oh please, can I be in your tree fort club?!?
My apologies in advance. _________________ "Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...
