Right now I'm still alive.
I waited for bed till I could see straight and didn't feel pukey, and it seems to have worked. I woke up this morning. At least, I think I did. If not, my afterlife is a lot like my regular one. _________________ FEAR LEAFZILLA!!! |

Right now, I am about to start ten things at once, one of them being satisfying some curiousity...
Clockwise from left -
Brian, Saxy, Askew, Rils, Mystlander, Gadren, Dusante, Blade, Eleri, Cyc, Jean, Annacat, & Marten
Background -
Everyone else
(Btw, perceived inclusions/omissions were based upon familiarity, reference materials, and necessary space/time considerations - plus any unpredictability factors that anything Thend does is subject to, as always. The pic was intended, of course, only as a representative, not literal, interpretation)

Right now my wireless has been stupid all evening. I had trouble logging into Uru, and when I finally got in, it kicked me off. So... to my hoodmates I was talking to when that happened, sorry. I didn't ditch you on purpose.
Had a good day today, though. _________________ FEAR LEAFZILLA!!! |

Right now I am thinking of Kev as I am off to a Stars game vs the Flames. I'll be sitting ten rows from the ice and I know Kev would love the next seat... _________________ Ham Radio KE5JBX

Right now, I am trying not to be stressed out.
As most of you probably know, I work as a research assistant in an archive. At work today I found out that there's some doubt as to whether the archive can afford to keep its RAs working over the summer. Nothing is decided yet, but it's looking like some or all of us aren't going to be employed this next term.
If my position gets cut, I'm not entirely sure what I'll do. I'll still be getting funding, but I really count on the assistantship to make ends meet.
So... now it's just a game of wait and see. If I'm one of the RAs who do get cut (and unfortunately it's not my immediate boss who makes the decision; if it was I'd feel a lot more confident about my chances,) I'm going to go talk to my union rep about it. The university has me under contract for a certain number of hours. They can't just promise that and then suddenly tell me there's no funding. I understand the department only has so much money, but I feel like the university needs to find something for me to do (and needs to pay me a salary that reflects my level of training, as I'm contracted for.)
If that doesn't work, I guess I'm looking for another job...

*hugs*
It's going to be okay. No saying that it's happening yet and you DO have a contract to pull on to make sure you get paid. Everything's going to work out.
"Cheer up, child. Everything's going to turn out all right, you'll see. Oop! Listen to me, jabberin' on while there's a supper to put on the table! Chip!"
aaaand random Beauty and the Beast quote. I'm pretty sure I know all the lines off by heart - I started reciting the movie to myself once, but I got scared at how far I got and had to stop. :ermm:
Right now, I want to watch Beauty and the Beast...but it's 2 am and I know I'm going to get an 8 or 9 am phone call. >_< _________________ Beware the butterflies of DOOOOM! and exposition

Right now, the Spider argument video that is suggested after viewing the one Cycreim linked to is even better.
Right now... I'm .... drifting... away... from ... Uru.... ::mildly alarmed, begins to float off into the void, sorta grabbing at hand-holds:: _________________ ~Moiety Jean

Right now, Skittles make my teeth hurt.
Right now, "The Avengers" isn't quite as bad as I remember it to be.
Right now, I'm still recovering from "300".
