I've just joined the forum because I was unable to read many of the posts shown in the RSS feed. Now that I have joined, I can't read ANY of them.

From the RSS feed I get the following list of new topics:
* Sharper not going back to Noloben- 19 hours ago
* Possible news about Phil- 1 day ago
* Sharper in the 'hood, Aug 1 2007- 1 day ago
* Baby Bahro- 1 day ago
* Desperate Times- 2 days ago

However, every single one of them, when I follow the link, returns the following:
The topic or post you requested does not exist

Current events topics such as these are exactly why I wanted to join in the first place...

Is it really possible that ALL of these topics have been deleted???? Or is there something else causing this? FWIW I am using Firefox 2.0.0.5.

Please help... I want to read the news!

I see that the feed is showing some topics that are in a hidden forum.

I'm not sure why, but there are several things messed up about the board right now. Perhaps we should remove the RSS feed. I don't know any of our forumers who actually use it.

Sorry Malia, but most of those posts are in a Great Tree Members-only forum. They're not supposed to be able to be read as news. If you'd like a good news forum, I suggest the Cavern Today forum at Uru Obsession. People constantly update there with ongoing events.

Ack, apparently I am the only one that used it and the rss feed worked fine. Except that yes it shows the topics of the hidden forum and if you have access to that forum, the links work fine.

Could we maybe make the rss available in a hidden location or something? If not it's not a huge deal but I do find the feed useful.
