Back on topic, someone pointed out on another forum that its a possibility that, since Ahlsendar was reported to link at will, maybe he had something like Esher's 'bahro pelt' from Myst V, and that is what Jolatha broke the seal on the Tomb of the Great King. That might point back to Ahlsendar being involved.
