I also believe, if something's taken away from me, that's to my advantage

I was let go from an awesome job in early 2002. But, it felt like firing because they gave us 15 minutes to clear out with instructions to not speak with anyone. Twenty-five of us got the hammer that day. It was brutal with long lasting repercussions. And yes, CJ, it sucks royally. I hope you bounce back quickly. I'm rootin' forya.

I found out I was getting "let go" the day after I got back from my honeymoon... Ahh, good times.

I feel for you, CJ. It's really difficult to see right now, but things do have a way of working out. Don't get discouraged. In the words of my wife's favorite tv show, "make it happen!" Wink

Sorry to have thrown that out there for you all... and then bail. I've just been a little busy.

First, a big thanks to all of you and your well-wishes. It means a lot to have your friends back you up in times like this.

The good news is that this is going to turn out to be a blessing. I've had another opportunity in the works that would have had to procede carefully so as not to make waves with the company I just got let go from.

Now that I've been let go, no one cares about making waves with them. Laughing

It came at an awkward time, but my new opportunity will be moving forward this week. So one door slamming shut on my butt is enough to launch me through to the next stage of life.

Bigger and better things are in front of me.

Thanks again, gang. Your support means the world to me.
