Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) is a gaming convention they hold in Seattle every year. It's "celebration of gaming culture", as they put it. Computer gaming, tabletop gaming, etc. It's really big and huge.
I've already got my ticket actually! sorry I can't contribute to the group rate, but maybe I'll see you all there at least! I'm only going for Saturday.

PS - the site for the con is here.
For those not familiar with Penny Arcade, it is a blog/comic run by two guys that deals with all things gamer geek related. It can be kinda crude, but hilarious if yer into that culture.
The Penny Arcade Expo is, in their own words,
