I like both your ideas about doing a puzzle for everyone at Cyan to solve But I'm no good at creating puzzles |
No problem Farlesis, as I'm certain that our Great Tree members have a plethora of ideas for you to use. Let the posting begin! _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

Idea No. 1
Include a hidden message within the context of our letter to Cyan using the "Caesar Cipher" that will direct them to the following URL: http://www.freshsensation.com/samorost.swf
E-mail me for instructions on how to use the Caesar Cipher, if you choose to use this idea. _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

Idea No. 2
Create a Crossword Puzzle using questions and answers relating to D'ni history (i.e., names, dates, events, etc.). _________________ URU Live KI #: 50911 MOULa KI #11697212

Idea No. 3
If 7 or 8 pizzas, place print-outs of journey cloths (in each stage) under the pizzas themselves. (or perhaps we should make it an adventure hide a cloth under a soda label, underside of pizza box, etc.).
Idea No. 4
Send soda (packaged in a locked box) with pizzas (hide key inside pizza box?). _________________

Here's an idea...
Arrange the toppings on the pizzas to all look like various D'Ni numbers.
Then write a clue in reflected latin and hide it under one of the pizzas.
The clue should tell them that if they arranged the pizzas in alphabetical order according to the type of topping, the numbers will prove to be GPS coordinates.
Of course, they will have plundered the slices before they got to the clue, so Ashtar, make sure you take a group photo of the team, a DIGITAL photo, showing all the toppings of all the pizzas before you leave.
As you leave, bid them farewell in Polynesian, so that when they translate it, it transltes to a website where they can find the digital photo... but make the photo so small they'd need photoshop to enlarge it... and when they do and get the GPS coordinates, make it be some place 37 feet in the air.. so they have to find a ladder... or.. um... they could jump.
Wait... the pizza.... but if they ate the clue... maybe the pizza boxes could be turned INTO the ladder... um.... the toppings...
pepperoni... <droool>
Darn. this is why I could never design puzzles for cyan... I got lost just thinking one up... _________________ KI 182798
