What:
Eleri's Birthday Party
When:
Sunday, Oct 25th @ Noon
Where:
MagiQuest @ Great Wolf Lodge; Centralia, WA
MagiQuest is a sorta D&D meets Lazer Quest, by way of Chuck E Cheese. You go, get a wand, and follow quests. While it's geared towards the younger kid set, how many of us are *actually* grown up, anyhow?
We'll be meeting at the main entrance at NOON on Sunday, and then tromping in to get our MQ stuffs. Wearing something Harry Potter/Wizardesque is optional (but fun!)
COST:
$10 admission. First time players will want to buy a wand, they run from $15-$20, and are yers to keep after, store your info, and work at any MQ worldwide. (Mysteriumites take note, MQ is now in 2010 Mysteriumville)
Food and other swaggy bits will be extra, although we probably won't eat at GWL, cause is spendy resort foods there's ather foodstuffs near.
How to get there:
20500 Old Highway 99, SW
Centralia, WA 9853
Drivest thou SOUTH on I-5 for many miles, until you get to Exit 88: US-12 to Tenino/Aberdeen
Turn RIGHT onto Old Highway 99 W/US-12
Take first LEFT onto Old Hwy 99 W, go a bit under a mile to GWL, you can't miss it. _________________

Oooh... MQ is fun.
We went with friends from college and their twin girls (our god daughters) on the MQ trail in the Great Wolf Lodge in PA - Pocono Mountains.
We let the girls keep the wand... well, my wife let the girls keep the wand, dag nabbit.
Have fun, and happy, happy birfday. _________________ KI 182798

MQ was a lot of fun. We ended up buying a wand for each member of the family. But it was worth it and I'm hoping to go back _________________ .yahvo kehnehn taigahntahv .taigahntahv bihv

Wow I'm late on this reply but still....glad you had fun!!!
I looked at the MagiQuest website awhile back and it sure did look fun. Amusing at least. I wasn't sure if it was more fun with kids than without. I haven't checked lately...has the online component started up yet? Guess I could check tonight. |
