I've used the word "die Zusammengekommenen" for the gathered as I liked
this and Ireen used it also once, but I very often saw the use of "die Versammelten"
(same meaning as Zusammengekommene) on the Uru Reallife forums and I believe
that would be more convenient for you, Marten, to integrate into the video scenes...

Today I looked around on the Internet as I don't have any german Uru installation
anymore lol and I finally found this old german website with lots of useful treasures
though they're saying in the Book of Words
"Die Versammelten werden dir vom Pfad der Muschel erzählen"
translates "The gathered will tell you of the path of the shell"

So, I'd say I've got it right as in my script without 'you' as there is none lol, means
the above phrase without 'dir' and so just replace "die Zusammengekommenen" with
"die Versammelten"... Very Happy

I also used "verzamelden", which is the Dutch equivalent of "Versammelten". I do believe that that is indeed a better translation, as "gathered" is an intransitive verb, and thus could hint at a divine purpose. Perhaps Yahvo gathered the explorers, it may not be their own choice to 'komm zusammen'. Words is a fictive prophetic book after all.

By the way, it's a pity the German translation doesn't have the rhyme... Sad

But perhaps that was impossible without changing the meaning too much.

Thanks! I have uploaded the slightly changed German translation, making the single word substitution that Jana suggested.

Even if there isn't a rhyme, it looks like the German words alliterate slightly the way the words end (see emphasis below). But, I don't know how this would be pronounced.

Die Versammelten werden
dir vom Pfad der Muschel erzählen
