Still not sure whether I'm picking up Expansion Pack 2 or the Chronicles or both. Right now (oops, wrong thread....no, that's right...) Right now I'm leaning toward the Cronicles.....You know, like one long story...I think that'd be fun.

And as far as gifts go....I'm definitely going with Chronicles. I can think of a couple of people who never played Uru but should have.

Am I right in assuming that XP2 will stand alone, that you need not have played the original and XP1?

Sorry, Katie, but I believe you will need both URU:Ages Beyond Myst and URU:To D'ni installed, before URU:The Path of the Shell will work. There is a reason that these are called Expansion Packs...

I think I will be waiting until it's available for pre-order on amazon.co.uk, was looking through their shipping charges chart, had everywhere in Europe listed except England or United Kingdom.

actually katie..if i recall corectly..
when you buy the the X2 disk..it [/i]comes with x1 to Dni ...as a bundle..for all those who did not..or would not download the x1 pack from a certain file download company...
