Is anyone here planning on going to Mysterium? Does anyone thing that The Great Tree should do some sort of presentation?
I had an idea for one of my own... just an idea.
I was thinking maybe I could wear my jacket and recreate the little speech I made in the 'hood about how I met Sharper, and how the Great Tree was formed and evolved. Think anyone would be interested in seeing that? /shrug _________________ #Brian Fioca

If you wanted, you could even go ALL the way back to the beginning and do the speech you gave on the Docks, right after you met Sharper. Either way, I'd say that the jackets are a must for any GTer there, and you, Brian, are required to wear sunglasses no matter how dark it is.

Wow, I totally forgot about that one. That was before I even started saving chat logs, so I'm not sure if I'd even come close to remembering what I said at all. (old school pre-Great Tree reference: How about those Patriots?)
As far as the sunglasses... of course!
(As an interesting aside, and also trying to not sound full of myself, I kinda wonder if people will recognize me or think I'm someone impersonating me. The funny thing is, how many people can actually pull out a photo ID to prove it? "Look here, it IS me! Here's my driver's license, see? I really AM Professor Askew!") _________________ #Brian Fioca

LOL Brian.
But recreating a speech from Uru Live, whichever one you use is a fantastic idea. And you definitely have to wear the sunglasses to complete the look. I think it's a great idea to talk about how you met Sharper and how the GT was formed and evolved, its a fascinating aspect of Live I don't think many people know about. |

Those were the days. To be honest, Brian, I was all but convinced that you were an in-game character like Sharper or Watson. You were damn good at organizing a conspiracy. _________________ The laws contrived by the Proud are their security, and their undoing. Such laws make disobedience a virtue and obedience a sin. |

Yeah, people kept making that mistake. The best one was the time that someone came up to me and asked how it was that I was included in the credits for the Book of Ti'ana (I think it was that one). I actually stood there for a second and thought, "really?!" Turns out there was a Brian De Fiore mentioned or something. _________________ #Brian Fioca

Yeah, even during the later GT meetings, people new to the cavern kept asking if you were in the DRC. Which is, of course, wrong on a variety of levels.
You should have run with that one and said that Gehn was your idea _________________ The laws contrived by the Proud are their security, and their undoing. Such laws make disobedience a virtue and obedience a sin. |

I think you should definitely make some presentation, Brian. Jacket and sunglasses are a must. I just wish I could be there to watch... _________________ Jaharen

Umm... O--Kay....
I know my tenure with the Great Tree is shorter than some of you folks... but I gotta admit that you lost me here... _________________ KI 182798

I think a presentation would be great Brian. I know there are a lot of people out there who don't know about the Great Tree and it's relationship with Douglas Sharper. Also, there are a lot of misconceptions about Sharper from many of the explorers. All they think is that he was some kind of fanatic trying to bring down the DRC. Maybe you could set the record straight. _________________ Uru Live KI #: 69208
