Okay... first let me say that I finished X1 on Easter Sunday. Seemed appropriate enough, since the whole thing was just a cavern-wide egg hunt. Confused

But I digress.

I woke up this morning and came downstairs, and was a little shocked and frightened by something I saw on my wall...

I took a closer look and thought... what's this? a MARKER??

I realized that it was just the odd effect of the bright morning sun shining full force on the peephole of my front door. The "Marker" was the relected/refracted light coming through the peephole.

I still touched it... y'know... JUST to be sure... Wink

Seems like it'd be a good prologue/epilogue to a story.

As the water flowed to the roots, the tree began to grow again. He felt himself pulled deeper into the tree, felt it branch out, felt the flow, felt the strength of the tree, felt the tree meowing....

CuzinJohn awoke suddenly. His cat, Tinkerbell, looked into his eyes and purred lightly once more; she was hungry. And he was in his bed, in his room, on the surface. The tree.... it had seemed so real. He could almost still feel it. Had it all been a dream?

He knew his alarm would ring at any moment. As he sat up to dress himself, he noticed something on the wall out of the corner of his eye.

And nothing was ever the same again.

Down the rabbit hole.... hmm. CuzinJohn, I think I know what this strange occurrence means. It's a sign.

You need to get a cat named Tinkerbell.
