How's everyone's tree on their relto doing? I just linked to my Relto and got a bit of a surprise when I saw my tree and how high it had grown. It certainly wasn't like that two days ago.

I'm glad that you asked. I have some interesting data to add to this. I currently have four saved and completed games running and I have different rates of tree growth in each one.
Back in the beta, a Cyantist told me that everyone's game had it's own uniquely generated random number of days, between 00 and 99, before their tree would begin to grow. Having the rain activated also helps speed the process but is not always essential, that is, some people's trees will grow without EVER having their Relto rain on.
Now that Uru is an offline game, with a finite number of days that most people will be actively playing it, it appears that the tree activation integer has been lowered to a more reasonable and accessable number of days.
Does anyone have any corroborating data? |

indeed..mine has gotten postiivly huge.. i even have severall "small" nobs growing around the base...very similar to phills tree.
for the record..ive left the rain on/off on alternatiing days...(expermineting with the tree actually)....
and often leave the game itself on for a few hours evryday..even when im not playing...
i look forward to seeing jsut how big this one goes.)(wonder if it comes iwth a built in elveator (chanlewood entrance -myst)...when its big enugh?? _________________ /to Dn'I ..and beyond..the path of the shell beckons..the journey, not the destination, continues. LOL
Knightshayde yeah I've been experimenting with having rain off and on as well, did that it in Live as well. Kind of like having my fireflies flying around. An elevator in the tree like the one on Myst Island would be cool |

Well, I looked at my tree and frankly, I wasn't impressed. So, I turned the rain on and left the game running while I'm at work. It's five pm now....let's see if I notice a difference at 1:30 am when I get home.
Come on, tree..... _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |
