Not the TV spot, with Peter Gabriel music, that's got legal goo on it
The one we originaly played with was the ECTS trailer off of UO, which has the whole "There is a place" text going, with sweeping camera angles. It's really great, but the image quality is poor.
If we could find something that presented Uru in film-trailer sort of way, and had a clear picture, that would work _________________

The cards look great Eric. I'll buy some card stock this week to get them printed.
I wish the official TPOTS web site had a bit more content. About the only thing up there right now is a few screenshots and links for pre-ordering. It's too bad Cyan couldn't come up with a nice TPOTS trailer like was done with Myst IV Revelation. _________________ Uru Live KI #: 69208

I heard word that a trailer was in the works, but I haven't heard anything recently. Let me try and double-check. |

Eric, can you make some drop cards that just say Uru or say Uru: Complete Chronicles?
CD is in the home strech, hopefully tonight. _________________

Something without a hook, like you'd pass to someone after talking about it with them? I don't see why not. I'll ask Chris if it's permissible for me to duplicate the logo. |

You've done a great service to the Myst/Uru community Eleri. I look forward to seeing the CD and making copies for my friends _________________ Uru Live KI #: 69208

Yeah, it fall down and go boom big time I'm not sure how much server space Brian has on here but you might get in touch with him just to check. The other problem is that he might have a limit on monthly traffic.
And the reason you can't get your signature to work is that you are trying to use HTML tags. The board only understands BB (Bulletin Board) code. Similar to HTML, but not exactly the same. When you reply to a message, it gives you a list of the codes at the top. More information can be found at:

Now that the new desktop images are available on http://www.thepathoftheshell.com, I'm thinking of printing some out and conveniently "forgetting" them in places. Most web browsers print the URL along with the page, so they'll have a trail of breadcrumbs to follow.

I just got some great news. Really. I just spoke with one of the managers at my local comic book store and asked if it would be alright if I left a small box of the vigilante Uru CDs on the counter.
Now, let me clarify what I mean by my local comic book store....Midtown Comics in Times Square, New York City. It's one of the busiest and largest comic book stores in the country. People from all over the world shop there on a daily basis. If I had to guess.....I would say I'll have to refill that demo box every week!! (Which could get expensive... )
I actually hadn't thought of a comic book store until I went in today to pick up my books. Now I can go ask the other half-dozen stores in the city....
If I could only figure out how to put the CD together.....Somebody got a step by step How-To instruction sheet?
Now I'm gonna post this at UO. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Heck, if you can get that kind of exposure, I'll burn the CD's and ship them to you, Professor! Did anyone come up with a label design for the CD's? Hmmm... I might also needs to find a cheap source for jewel cases, unless we want to just put them in sleeves... |
