I came across a startling thing this evening. I was browsing through the recently discovered German web kit for tPotS and inside a certain folder (the name of the folder is a spoiler in itself) I found this................
I find this astounding! First, even if it does figure in the game......can it be so important that the Germans felt it should be included in the web kit? Secondly, how much does it figure into the game, if at all? I'm floored.....and doubly excited to play tPotS. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

Ya know... I was wondering about that...
Brian never told us he was going to visit Cyan... we just heard about it when he got back... kinda suspicious, eh?
And NOW we discover the GT logo in the web kit? my guess is that SOMEONE in TPotS will be wearing a GT jacket...
Hmmm... I wonder who??? _________________ KI 182798

I think the question of whether or not "The Great Tree" plays a role in TPOTS has been answered I thought it very cool that the first place we get to explore is the Great Tree pub, and the first item of clothing to find was the Great Tree jacket. My avatar is wearing it proudly. Looks like Cyan was returning the favor for the jackets we gave them Also, many of the new journals refers to the Great Tree in the writings. So The Great Tree lives on!! _________________ Uru Live KI #: 69208

hmm...Thanks, Proffessor. There is a "dress like your avie" contest on a forum that has slipped my mind. We have an advantage with those jackets, now that the digital equivalent is available again. Oh... um... I'm just a little... uh.. WOW....
Sorry... I'm just a little emotional that my copy has yet to arrive. I can't begin to explain how good it feels to be a part of this group. We helped mold the game. Our position has merit.
This is the first experience of this type I've ever had with a computer game... so pardon me if my emotions get the better of me...
WOO HOO!!!

I'm right there with you Cuz. I should have pre-ordered from the Electronics Boutique in the mall instead of from Ubi.com I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive too. However, it might be a good thing that I don't have it yet because I've got a lot of work to do for a week long camp I'm helping run next week. Now I've got more time to prep for it or rather I'll use my time more wisely now. _________________ Jaharen

I just checked my order on UPS and it should arrive on the 13th. Grrr... I'm seriously considering paying again just to get in. I could sell my other copy on eBay to get some money back... Grrr... _________________ Jaharen
