Yes indeed. It was interesting to read the log. I find chat very confusing...it's hard to follow the conversational threads and things seem to get belaboured over and over again, which one would think would drive people crazy. I am sure once the sixth person had reminded me for the third time about forgetting my Relto book, whether it was one occasion or several, I would be ready to break heads.

However, it seems to have gone okay...some hackles raised but nothing came of it thank goodness. And Ms Lynn gets to do some exploring! Yay!

It's really great Brena has been given this chance to explore the tunnels and I hope she does manage to send back reports of her progress and what she finds in them.

Well, it appears that Brena and Daniel et al have found what they were looking for: a hidden tunnel pointed out to Brena by Zandi. Here's a link to the DRS site if you don't already have one. http://www.drsorg.net/forums/
Looks like the tunnel in question has collapsed, probably during the earthquake at the time of the Fall. But, it seems Brena's found something else while there....

some explorers had volunteered to help look for her around the Cavern, in case she wandered back down...i think this is a great idea, and we need to spread the word about this.

Naraya Summers is of the opinion that she just wandered off and forgot her book and KI. I hesitate to say it, but that doesn't fly.

1. Brena's been down there with you all a while.
2. She forgot her Book at least once before and has been getting grief for it ever since. This makes you hyper-careful.
3. She was in a particularly safety-intensive situation, in the company of a friend and two experts.
4. She had just found something that was not only important to the Cavern as a whole, but represented a personal victory for her. She thus had a ridiculously strong motivation to get back safe and sound.

Under those circumstances, to forget to wear her Relto book and her KI every waking moment and particularly before going anywhere would, I think, indicate a serious and undiagnosed mental condition. Since I saw no indication of such a condition, and Ms Summers evidently knew of nothing in that line when she okayed Brena to go, I think the likelihood of the just-forgot-it hypothesis pretty near to zero, along the lines of me going to work up here without getting dressed first. It seems more likely to me that she was abducted, either forcibly or unconscious, by someone who assumed that we would think exactly what Ms Summers is thinking.

I'm not trying to start up the old DRwhatever-GT trouble again--one of the things that worries me is the possibility that this incident, if it's not resolved soon, may do just that. I just think you all should be on the alert down there...there may be something inimical wandering the tunnels, whether human or otherwise.

And I still wish I was down there with you all...

I'll have to say that this is one of those times that I completely agree with you Zander. It's HIGHLY unlikely that Brena would forget her Relto book and KI again, especially after the flack Ryan was giving her after the first incident. Seems like something ominous occurred and whether it's from within the DRS itself or an outside source, we will need to figure that out. Otherwise, nobody will be safe in the cavern.

My first instinct when reading that Brena had gone missing was that she was taken by force and I'm sticking with that. I agree with what your saying Zander and Ashtar. I think its safe to say that we need to remain vigilent and watchful of anything suspicious going on, keeping our eyes and ears open to anything. I hope Brena is found soon.

I am not aware of a personal relationship between the Great Tree fellowship and the Bahro. Perhaps Mystlander has the ability to make these arrangements privately, I'm not sure. I think maybe Mystlander is a celebrity in RL and therefore is used to calling upon her own private security force. Next it'll be Ae'gura paparazzi. What am I saying? We already have that!
